Crystal Lake vocalist Ryo Kinoshita leaves the band, auditions for new vocalist are ongoing

Crystal Lake vocalist Ryo Kinoshita has left the Japanese metalcore band due to what he says is adjustment disorder, as he explained in a recent post on social media. Adjustment disorder, in his case, has affected his sleep patterns and other important bodily functions.

Kinoshita joined the band in 2012 and had performed on all the band’s material since then, as the band caught fire in their home country of Japan and beyond. Beyond his work on the band’s three most recent full-lengths (their last one was 2018’s Helix), Kinoshita had also become an in-demand guest vocalist, appearing on Spiritbox’s revamped “Holy Roller”, among others.

Crystal Lake is also holding auditions to become the band’s new vocalist, with no limits on gender, nationality, or age. You can find out more details on that below.
