Singlehandedly inspiring a legion of like-minded catchers like Skeeter Jean and Dads Against Predators, Chris Hansen’s To Catch A Predator series, hosted in the mid-2000’s, has been an on again, off again series over the years. Recently, it was revived in a series called Hansen Vs. Predator and Have A Seat With Chris Hansen with a few notable differences. Either way, the goal is the same – to catch online potential sexual predators who go after underage victims.
It’s been a few years, but Chris Hansen has now teased and basically confirmed on Instagram that the cleanest, best pleasure is coming – and it’s not an apple pie. No, it’s the return of a new version of Hansen catching dishonest, dirty people who are there to meet the underage. Disturbing, but the results are often quote quotable. In fact, there’s a To Catch A Predator community, and it’s a lot bigger than you think. The common thread is appreciating the takedown and exposure of people who want to meet people under 18. Most of the predators even have colorful nicknames, like the Super Mario Predator (fashion is not the strong suit of most of them) and the Black Hat Predator. Some of them are even looking for work and stuff.
It appears the new episode will be released sometime this year. Glorious white stuff may or may not be included, and hidden in a palm tree quite possibly. Wow.
