Bullet For My Valentine have recovered once already from a serious misstep, when the metalcore band rebounded from Temper Temper with the relative return to form, Venom. The band’s new era is getting off to a promising start with the release of “Knives”, the band’s first new single since 2018’s Gravity. Eschewing the mostly lukewarm sound of that album for a heavier one that fans will probably enjoy quite a bit, it pretty easily eclipses anything the band has done in years.
