The synth-pop outfit Bearstronaut has been at it since 2007. With two albums and two EPs under their belt they are far from rookies. Bringing an old style to life with some modern twists they are definitely a band that should be in your playlists.
The band has been hard at work for years and have played with bands like Passion Pit, Surfer Blood, The Field, and Body Language. Their music is for people who simply want to dance. With funky bass lines, catchy guitar, and awesome synth work it is hard to listen to a song from this band and not wanna tap your feet.
Their latest album “Telocoast” may be their best work yet, with songs like “Shadow” and “Holding Out” the core of this band is displayed, killer vocals and awesome instrumentation. The band went through a lineup change in 2011 but after listening to this album I can honestly say this lineup is the most solid it can get. All aspects of this band shine in their own way and I look forward to more music from these guys.
Below is the song “Holding Out” from their latest album Telocoast available via iTunes and Spotify.
