Capital Credit Union Park
Green Bay, Wisconsin
Green Bay, Wi was blessed with an amazing rock show on a chilly Saturday night. Badflower left the warmth of Los Angeles, California to come perform for hundreds of fans at a sold out show. Held at the Capital Credit Union Park on May 8th, many fans gathered to see some live music.
Opening up the night was 3 piece band Doozey! Doozey is local to Appleton, Wisconsin and they did a great job of getting the crowd ready for the two fantastic bands to follow.
Next to take the stage was a 5 piece band from Nashville, Tennessee and they called themselves Goodbye June. Instantly Goodbye June had everyone up off their seats and flocking to the stage. I don’t know if I can say enough good things about this band, but they blew everyone away!! From the insane pipes on vocalist Landon Milbourn to the shredding on the guitar by guitarists Tyler and Brandon. Goodbye June performed some new music as well as some of their most popular songs like “Darlin” “Daisy” and closed out their set with their song “Oh no”. Goodbye June came to show Green Bay what they were all about and definitely left a lasting impression!
The energy from the crowd was just all around amazing. Everyone was just so happy to be there and see live music again. There were many smiles all around and even some tears of joy! It was a beautiful sight to see.
As the sun began to set, Wisconsin definitely didn’t take into consideration that we were trying to have an outdoor show here. It was chilly! So chilly that when Badflower took the stage, vocalist Josh Katz came out wrapped up in a blanket. Badflower opened up their 16 song set list with their song “F*ck the World” and instantly the energy on this baseball field was exhilarating. Fans were singing their hearts out to each and every song Badflower performed. But the fans weren’t the only one with the insane amounts of energy, every single member of Badflower brought the animation to the stage. It was a beautiful thing to see these talented artists finally being able to do what they love once again. While Covid put a stop to a lot of live shows, Badflower wasn’t just sitting back and twiddling their thumbs. They’ve been working on a whole new album that is just about finished and will be released soon enough! Badflower definitely did a great job of leaving everyone just wanting more.
Over all, Green Bay was very blessed and thankful to have the honor of seeing such talented artists up on stage. Every band that performed that night brought their A game and gave such a great show. It was definitely worth bundling up with blankets in chilly weather. A huge thank you goes out to Razor 94.7 and Capital Credit Union Park to bringing such great talent to Green Bay!
