Roaring like a lion through the depths of the Australian underground metal scene, Australia’s Advocates have been dropping new music sporadically over the last couple years, with great results in support tours gained, as well as new fans. Considering how heavy the band’s new single “Detachment” hits, though, you can add them to the shortlist of some of the best new Aussie heavy bands to make an impact in the scene. While the new song is fairly typical Advocates, you can really hear the nuances of the song help take their songwriting abilities to the next level. Certainly a band to keep an eye on.
