Lying somewhere between atmospheric post-rock and doom metal, California’s Ancestors are a veteran band with high aspirations, and while the band released several notable albums on Tee Pee Records, their recent signing to Pelagic Records will likely see them gain a wider audience. Especially if their new song, “Gone”, is any indication.
