AEW Collision – Episode 17 (10.07.2023) (Wrestling Review)

AEW

Collision

Salt Lake City, Utah

Oct. 7th, 2023

AEW World Tag Team Title Match
FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (c) vs. Big Bill & Ricky Starks

This was more of a storyline vs a normal squash. FTR looked beat down and Starks / Bill just ran through them.

3 / 5

Singles Match
Bryan Danielson vs. Kyle Fletcher

This was good as expected. Danielson can have at the least a solid match with anyone and Fletcher got a chance to shine solo as his partner is out with an injury.

3.5 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Angelico, Gravity & Metalik (w/Serpentico) vs. Bullet Club Gold (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn & Juice Robinson) (w/Jay White)

I had fun with this even if BCG could have ran through them quick. I really like the Gunns with BCG and its working great.

3.5 / 5

AEW World Trios Title Match
The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) & Billy Gunn (c) vs. Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) & Jacked Jameson

This was too long honestly. Acclaimed and Gunn should have ran through this random team here instead of doing a 10 minute match. Acclaimed also don’t have any credible threats right now which hurts.

2 / 5

Singles Match
Toni Storm vs. Kiera Hogan

Storm being so great with her character made this otherwise uninteresting match slightly more bearable.

2 / 5

ROH World Title Match
Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Komander

This was fine. It was speed vs power here as Komander tried to keep the pace up and Kingston tried to slow it down.
