A praise and worship band performed on a packed airplane, and it'll make your ears bleed

If you like pain and suffering, you’ve absolutely come to the right place. Flying on airplanes, while an enthralling experience for many, comes with its own share of transportation problems. The biggest one is that you can’t exactly get away from annoying Karens or other passengers that might be pestering your experience. Or in this case, pastoring your experience.

The tl;dr version is this. According to TMZ, a pastor at Kingdom Realm Ministries got on an airplane, stood up, and started an impromptu praise and worship session where passengers obviously were forced to be subjected to this event. Judging by the video, which has gone megaviral, many passengers appear to be in various stages of annoyance. It’s not surprising, because it also sounds awful. For some reason, the airline didn’t shut this unwarranted event down.

As others have already noted, even Testament’s Alex Skolnick chimed in, saying “Pro guitarist/lover of guitars here. I’d support someone going full ‘Belushi’ (ie Animal House) on the guy. More practically, the staff should’ve put a stop to this insanity right away. It’s not only causing a disturbance to most passengers but inflicting religious propaganda.”

The only surprise here is that it wasn’t someone like Bethel Church’s Sean Feucht doing this, as his “Let Us Worship” rallies (nobody was stopping you from worshipping, Feucht) became a major cash cow in cities across the USA. While there’s certainly nothing wrong with praise and worship music on its own, there’s plenty of bad versions that would probably be offensive to God – and if it’s a guy with an acoustic guitar, hearing that is probably what hell would be like. But really, they’re not making Christianity any better – they’re just making rock and roll worse.
