Ryan Siew, lead guitarist of Australian metalcore band Polaris, has passed away at the age of 26. Polaris broke the news on their socials a short time ago.
Having joined just as the band was starting to gain traction in Australia, his first recorded work with the band appears on their 2016 breakout EP The Guilt And The Grief. He then played a major role on the band’s subsequent full-length albums, including their upcoming record Fatalism. No doubt Siew was a talented musician.
