It Dies Today rehearsing for their upcoming reunion at Furnace Fest 2023 has us REALLY excited

In 2004, a band by the name of It Dies Today put themselves on the map with their debut full-length on Trustkill Records. Entitled The Caitiff Choir, the band emerged just as metalcore was starting to explode even into the mainstream, and while the band released two full-lengths after, they haven’t released anything since 2009 – and have been mostly inactive since outside of a few shows and false starts.

Late last year, however, the band was tapped to play the 2023 edition of Furnace Fest alongside a stacked lineup. While it’s unknown if they’ll be releasing any new music at all (FF 2023 is their only show this year…for now), it’s clear that the reception was a bit unexpected for the Buffalo band. And they’ve been releasing rehearsal videos of them playing some of their classic material to get ready for FF2023, and if you watch them it’ll no doubt get you as hyped as we are. After all, the members of It Dies Today were still teenagers when they started to gain traction, and it’s quite possible they still have more to say. Here’s hoping.
