The new Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers movie is absolutely hilarious. You might think it’s a kids movie, but it’s actually geared toward adults, with constant cartoon and pop culture references. It’s actually scoring an 82% rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of this writing, and while that’s not always the most accurate barometer of whether a movie is good or not, most reviews have been pretty positive.
It gets better, though. Lamb Of God’s “Laid To Rest” was featured in the new Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers movie. According to WebIsJericho, the song “is featured in a scene where Chip is living the lonely bachelor’s life without his sidekick, Dale. Chip walks home, enters his house and then takes off his earbuds as he’s listening to Lamb Of God. “Console yourself — you’re better alone,” sings Blythe before Chip taps his earbuds off.” The song shows up around 13 minute minutes into the movie (actually, at the 12:45 marker).
I think we really need to know what Randy Blythe (not Corey Taylor) thinks about this amazing crossover, though.
