Have you heard the new EP from Within The Groves yet? If not, you will soon. Like, by the time the end of this article is finished. The Tampa-based two piece, who combine metalcore and deathcore influences in their project, recently released their 6-track EP Southern Heritage, which pays tribute to the west-central area of Florida the band hails from.
The EP also contains single “It Feels Like Hell”, which is approaching 6k streams on Spotify. That’s not an insignificant number for a band that’s only recently entered the fold.
The band also had this to say about the new EP:
“Southern Heritage was inspired by a lifetime spent in the rural southeast. From childhood traumas to phobias I’ve yet to confront, these six tracks truly have been some of the best tracks I have worked on.”|
As the band describes it, this is dirty Southern metal, so get into it.
