Joey Janela’s Spring Break Part 2
Dallas, Texas
April 1st, 2022
A decent predictable opener. A lot of pandering to the crowd made it a less interesting match at times but Cardona and Dickinson did good. The interference was expected and the ending was predictable winner wise but this was a solid opener.

A good hard hitting match between Biff and Deppen. Sure, Biff should have won, but this was a good match between them that worked with telling a story throughout it. Biff looks great and hits hard and hopefully his indy streak continues.

Speedball actually got a good match out of Oliver. Fast paced with tons of great spots. Both guys had good back and forth action going on and it didn’t overstay its welcome. Speedball is killing it on his run right now.

Honestly a pretty lame match and a waste of Suzuki. Some chops to kick it off then a few submission holds and that was mainly it. A quick ten minute match though so thankfully it didn’t go too long. Effy got his dream match here though.

The clusterfuck is almost hard to review. Its a rumble match with the loosest rules of all time. Its also mainly a joke match. This year had less of the jokes and throw back guests and focused on a lot of GCW / JCW / La Fights names instead. Sean Ross Sapp popping up was fun, Bagwell, Maven, Josh Barnett treating this as a joke, and Jimmy Yang Wang. Its just overly long though and for what it is feels like it takes forever.
