What’s better than a Papa Roach show? Papa Roach inciting a Wall Of Death at a pizza parlor

Papa Roach is now an independent band with the release of their new album Ego Trip. The nu-metal vanguards have managed to stay relevant over the last 20+ years through changing musical trends and tastes, collaborating with the likes of Sueco, Fever 333 // letlive // Pressure Cracks frontman Jason Aalon Butler, and even Jeris Johnson. It’s honestly pretty impressive, considering many of their peers simply aren’t relevant anymore.

The band also just played a show in Hollywood, California, to celebrate the release of their new album with fans. Papa Roach even hosted a listening party for the album the night before its midnight release. Even vocalist Jacoby Shaddix’s youngest son showed up, making for a good time for all involved. But if you thought that’s all that happened, you probably need to read the headline of this article again.

That’s right, Papa Roach even incited a Wall Of Death at the pizza parlor where they played. While it’s not quite the WHAT THE FUCK IS UP DENNY’S moment that remains canon even today, it’s pretty close. Plus, considering Papa Roach have sold millions of albums and have a diehard fanbase that’s supported them for years, it’s pretty cool of them to still be doing fun and unique events for their fans. Seriously, it’s something a lot of bands of any genre could learn from.
