Previously in January, E3 announced they will not be having an in-person presentation. This lift some hopes up for a digital showcase of this years games and industry. It appears we won’t get E3 at all this year. According to PR Lead Will Powers E3 has canceled their 2022 digital expo, and stated they plan to return with a reinvigorated showcase. This news has left gamers understandably upset. E3 has declined in popularity in recent years, partly due to Covid-19, but the expo is an essential part of the gaming industry. No matter the decline, it’s still upsetting to have no E3 event this year – though there will be other online events on a smaller scale to take its place.
Just got an email… It's official, E3 digital is official cancelled for 2022. Lots of mixed feelings about this…
