Machine Gun Kelly delivers assault of the aerial kind by covering System Of A Down

Machine Gun Kelly, who is promoting his newest album Mainstream Sellout right now, has delivered an assault of Aerial proportions. If you couldn’t tell by the reference, MGK decided to cover System Of A Down’s 2001 hit “Aerials” during an appearance on The Howard Stern Snow, along with his backing band. Does the cover go for a deep passing touchdown, though, or is it a game-ending INT?

Of course, this isn’t the first time the Mainstream Sellout has covered a popular song. Opinions swing and vary wildly on his cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business” (a song that Paramore retired years ago, despite it being arguably their most iconic song) and tributing Linkin Park a few years back. By covering System Of A Down and as well as being the megastar that he is, you’ll probably be hearing about this cover for a while. We anxiously await the memes.
