With influences from all over the rock and metal spectrum and huge melodies abounding, Post Profit’s new album is indeed a belter. Led by popular single “We’re All Monsters”, the band’s infectious approach to modern rock should well win them some new fans quickly – and so too will their appearances at Welcome To Rockville and supporting Escape The Fate on an upcoming tour.
What’s really intriguing about the band is that some of their influences are quite interesting. Failure and Deftones certainly loom large in their sometimes hazy brand of alt-rock, but when Post Profit kicks the sound up to 11, they fit in on just about any modern rock bill out there.
“This release has been a long time coming for us. It took us 3 years to write, record, and put out this album. Recorded ourselves in the comfort of our own home, we hope everyone really connects to each of these songs and feels the emotion that we poured into this project. This is our first big release, fully independent, and we are very proud of the content we’ve made. We can’t wait for everybody to hear what we’ve been working on all this time.” – Post Profit
