The single art just screams ZZ Top’s Afterburner, but the debut single from New York hard rock/metal newcomers Silverfang echoes classic hard rock and heavy metal bands of years gone by. You know the ones – Scorpions, Iron Maiden, and the like. That’s not to say Silverfang is straight up copying them – they’re certainly not – but being reminded of that era of music is never a bad thing. For a debut single, you can really tell Silverfang has their heads on straight, and with the band releasing more new music this year, it’ll be interesting to see where they go from here.
Music. Gaming. Nostalgia. Culture.
