Madison, WI has been waiting for the Dillon Francis and Yung Gravy co-headlining Sugar, Spice, and Everything Ice tour for almost 2 years. It was one of the first tours to be canceled back in 2020 and fans have been eagerly waiting for the rescheduled concert. It’s no surprise that it was a sold out crowd at The Sylvee given Yung Gravy’s close ties to Madison.

Yung Gravy’s DJ, Tiiiiiiiiiip, got the crowd hyped up with a short melody of oldies that was capped off with what might as well be our official state song, “Jump Around” by House of Pain. With the crowd chanting “Gravy, Gravy”, Yung Gravy finally came out to the roaring crowd. He wasted no time getting to crowd pleasers like “Mr. Clean” and “Welcome To Chilis”. In between songs he told stories about his time living in Madison. Everything from recording some of his earliest songs here, to getting arrested during the annual Mifflin Street block party. He had the crowd jumping around and singing along until his hour long set was up.

Up next was Dillon Francis. Right from the get go he looked like he was having a blast with the biggest smile on his face. That enthusiasm for playing for the energetic crowd didn’t fade throughout the entire night. All night fans were dancing to songs like “Get Low”, “Real Love”, and “Say Less”. You would think that the night was over once the confetti was shot out into the crowd, but that just meant it was time for Dillon and Gravy to cap off the night with songs from their upcoming EP. Gravy came back out to join Dillon and the fans that stuck it out to the end got to hear some great new songs. Definitely be on the lookout for that EP to be released, and definitely don’t think twice about catching this tour. You don’t want to miss it twice.
