You probably don’t need us to tell you this, but Bring Me The Horizon are one of the most popular rock bands on streaming services today – especially Spotify. With over 8.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone at the time of this writing, anytime BMTH releases new music these days is a real event in the scene.
And considering 2021 is wrapping up, Spotify has launched its Spotify Wrapped series, which tracks everything you’ve listened to for the entire year. Surprise surprise, Bring Me The Horizon ended up on a ton of most-popular lists, and the numbers they’ve racked up have made 2021 by far their biggest year to date.
The band revealed that their music has been streamed over 800 million times in 2021 alone – awfully close to one billion, actually. Considering the band has only released one song this year in “DiE4u”, that’s awfully impressive – and the band is also working on new music with producer Zakk Cervini in LA, as they’ve been spotted in the studio. Awesome.
