Fresno, California-based metalcore outfit Scoundrel release music video for their intense track “Dead”

Scoundrel is a heart pounding metalcore outfit from the heart of Fresno, California. The band formed in late October of 2018. Scoundrel thrives with heavy influences from horror, nu-metal, deathcore, and progressive music. Surfacing in the scene with their debut single “La Bruja” released late in 2019. Scoundrel quickly began to gain steam within their respective genre. Scoundrel focuses on raw, force of nature type of energy when playing live and in the studio – sharing the stage with the likes of Carnifex, Oceano, Enterprise Earth, The Faceless, and much more. Scoundrel unveiled their debut EP “Dead” earlier in the year which features four brand new tracks with their new vocalist Cody Jeffers. Using lyrics to tie together a story throughout his lyrics, he adds a new layer of depths to the group with both lyrics and vocals. The four track EP is the strongest material yet for Scoundrel, showing them in their current prime. The EP was mixed and mastered respectively by Cody Fuentes of the legendary Spite at Rapture Recordings. Scoundrel has now presented a new music video to help expand the lyrical depth of the title track of the aforementioned EP.
