Marilyn Manson gets dropped by record label after abuse allegations

Marilyn Manson has been dropped by his record label, Loma Vista Recordings, after “horrific” abuse allegations were brought to light by ex-fiancee Evan Rachel Wood. As Deadline notes, Rachel Wood outed Marilyn Manson – AKA real name Brian Warner – in an Instagram post earlier this morning.

In a statement provided to Variety, Loma Vista had this to say:

“In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately. Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”

Manson recently released last year’s album We Are Chaos with the label, as well as his two previous records with Loma Vista.
