When self-styled “dream rock” band Dreamer & Son broke up earlier this year, many felt (including us) that they were a band most people missed the boat on. While hard to pin down stylistically, tracks like “Cheat” shimmered with the kind of alt-pop/rock vibes that are currently dominating the mainstream.
All is not lost for fans of the band, however. Former members of the band now have a new project out, by the name of Roy Juno. The band’s first single, “Glory”, is out now, and it treads familiar, yet also new, ground. “Glory” has an almost cinematic, anthemic quality that’s quite shocking for a new project.
The new song is off their upcoming EP, Gone Mad, which has a yet to be determined release date. Keep an eye on what Roy Juno is doing, because their future is very bright indeed.
