Just in time for Halloween, Slipknot releases first new track in 4 years, “All Out Life”

Was anyone expecting this? Probably not. Slipknot just released a video for a brand new song, titled “All Out Life”. The new track, which arrives just in time for Halloween, is the band’s first batch of new material since the 2014 release of 5: The Gray Chapter. For longtime fans of the band, it appears Corey Taylor and company really have delivered on the promise of their new material being “Iowa-level heavy”, a reference to their 2001 sophomore record. Interestingly, the new song arrives on the 22nd anniversary of their first album, Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. (Though it’s considered a demo by the band, officially)
