Covering any band is certainly a monumental task, to be certain – especially for a newer act. Butchering the cover can make you the target of ridicule and jokes everywhere. If you pull it off right, though, it can end up launching your career (see I Prevail). Swedish melodic metal band Sins In Vain aren’t exactly a new act (they broke up at the end of 2009 and only reunited in 2016), the band released two well-received singles last year, and now have debuted the music video for their cover of Killswitch Engage’s “The End Of Heartache”.
It’s certainly a ballsy move to cover a song like this, but Sins In Vain’s attempt is a pretty decent one – at least we think so. You can view the video below – let us know what you think in the comments!
