Taproot may not have had quite the commercial success of their nu-metal/alt-metal peers, but their career has also been nothing to sneeze at. Debut full-lengths Welcome and Gift featured generally solid songwriting for the genre, while 2005’s Blue-Sky Research was a near masterpiece. While the band has been somewhat active lately, it looks like said activity might be ramping up again.
