I had the great pleasure of covering Balance & Composure‘s set at the When We Were Young Festival which took place April 8-9th at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. What an amazing show they put on! B&C is one of those bands that even as a photographer, I want to just put down my camera and really soak in. Their sound has so much depth & texture, especially tracks from their latest record LIGHT WE MADE. Every track was impeccable and layered with wavy guitars, dreamy vocals and mesmerizing drums & bass lines. It was such a great experience shooting for B&C, huge thanks to them. I had an incredible time at WWWY 2017. I really hope the fest continues as a yearly event, and hopefully we’ll see Balance & Composure and some other great bands in the future lineups.
