What Bad Omens have accomplished over the last 2+ years or so is extremely rare for any rock or metal band in the modern era. You probably don’t need us to read off the list of accolades they’ve racked up since 2022, but will give you the basics. Their third full-length album, The Death Of Peace Of Mind, has racked up well over 1 billion streams on Spotify alone. The album itself is still one of the most popular records from any new rock or metal band, and any headlining tour they do at this point is all but guaranteed to sell out rather quickly.
If you can believe it, though, they’ve racked up yet another accolade. Their single “Like A Villain”, off the aforementioned record, has now gone Gold. It’s now the band’s third RIAA Gold single, and they’re still not done yet. As Bad Omens gear up for the impending release of their fourth full-length album, there is at least two or three singles that are approaching Gold status as well.
