Ben Koehler of Red Cord Records rock band Archers and Illuminators stopped by to talk about 5 albums that influenced him. Check it out after the jump.

Finch – What It Is To Burn

I recently saw Finch on a 10 year anniversary tour of this album and it was nothing short of mind blowing the amount of support they received on this album. I love it, it helped get me through high school. This band gives me hope that maybe one day I can leave some sort of mark.

Funeral For A Friend – Hours

Oh the feels that this album gives me… I may have listened to this album all the way through more than any other album. This has been my main go to album to cope with just about any emotion.

After The Burial – Rareform (re-issue)

This album is what got me back into metal. I just love it, plain and simple.

Underoath – Define The Great Line

I just love everything about this album. This is probably the first album where I could feel God moving through music.

Sum 41 – All Killer No Filler

This is what inspired me to play guitar, that and I figured I could probably get a girl friend if I was in a band.
