Chelsea Grin unleashes impressive new single, “Bleeding Sun”

After teasing it just last week, deathcore band Chelsea Grin have unveiled a new single, “Bleeding Sun”. It’s the first new music from the band since 2018’s Eternal Nightmare, and while it’s really not that different from a song you’d find off that record, the band have managed to step up their lyrical game on the new song. At the very least, it’s not a step down from that decent record. Give “Bleeding Sun” a spin below.

Chelsea Grin to unleash new song “Bleeding Sun” next week

With the introduction of former Lorna Shore frontman Tom Barber in 2018, deathcore band Chelsea Grin went on to release Eternal Nightmare that same year. Led by successful single “Hostage” (which has clocked in as one of their most popular songs to date with over 7.5 million streams on Spotify alone), the addition of Barber to replace Alex Koehler certainly paid dividends. Now, the band is set to release a new single, “Bleeding Sun”, next week.

Chelsea Grin premieres new song and video, “Hostage”

With ex-Lorna Shore vocalist Tom Barber now in the fold for their upcoming album, deathcore veterans Chelsea Grin have premiered yet another new track, in the form of “Hostage”. Taking over for the departed Alex Koehler will certainly be a tough test, but considering Tom’s previous pedigree, it’s likely their diehard fans will take to the new frontman with ease. Check out the new song below – the band will always be playing the Vans Warped Tour all summer, presumably debuting some of the new material.

Chelsea Grin finishes recording their new album: “It is without hesitation our meanest, darkest, heaviest and most evil and honest creation to date”

Utah deathcore veterans Chelsea Grin have a busy summer ahead of them, especially since they’re playing the final edition of the Vans Warped Tour. Recently having holed up in the studio with Drew Fulk and Josh Travis (Emmure) co-producing the new material, the band has recently announced that the untitled new album is “finished”. Having dropped off a recent support tour for Motionless In White, this is welcome news for fans of the band, especially if the time off helped recharge their batteries. It’s the band’s first new album since 2016’s Self-Inflicted. Check out the full statements from the band below.
