Recently our photojournalist Savannah Rowley attended and photographed Sleeping With Sirens latest Chill Out Summer Acoustic Tour in Orlando with The Rocket Summer and Kulick. This date took place at the venue, The Plaza Live, and was a seated event where fans had to purchase the exact seat they wanted; fans who were lucky enough to get tickets up front had the most intimate experience in this no-barricade show. The tour is currently mid-way through leading into some Latin American dates, which you can purchase tickets for upcoming dates here.
Venue – The Riviera Theater
Location – Chicago, IL
Date – April 7th, 2018
Lineup – Ministry, Chelsea Wolfe, The God Bombs
Ministry played a packed hometown Chicago show to a room full of fans that just couldn’t get enough. With a band firing on all cylinders and frontman Al Jourgensen leading the way with their unique brand of industrial metal the crowd was sure in for a huge night. Featuring special guest Burton C Bell of Fear Factory fame doing a few songs on vocals each night gave a unique twist. No one could expect however what would come at the end of the night as Al stated he had a guest to do one song that hasn’t been with Ministry since the 80’s and it was none other than Chris Connelly. This one off was something special to see and a great way to top off a killer set from the band.
This past Friday, Silent Planet brought an incredibly cathartic musical experience to a packed audience at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California. With direct support from Strawberry Girls and Night Verses, the diverse lineup put on a show spanning from metalcore to post-rock to progressive, with the consistent through-line being maximum emotional impact. TNF’s own Deniz Davenport was at the show capturing every moment, and we’re thrilled to share her excellent photos.
One of the most unique post-hardcore supergroups to emerge in recent years has finally made their live debut. Sufferer, the conceptual project detailing a day in the life of a person suffering from anxiety and depression, consists of members of A Lot Like Birds, Hail the Sun, and I the Mighty, and has garnered substantial buzz in the genre following the release of their self-titled debut album last September.
