Recently our photojournalist Savannah Rowley had the privilege to attend and photograph WJRR’S 101.1 Not So Silent Night event at Orlando’s Amway Center featuring female-fronted music acts Halestorm, In This Moment and New Years Day. A night full of emotion, heavy rock, and a night to be remembered as each band commanded the stage making all eyes appear on them.
Pop singer Noah Cyrus shined like the star she is at her House of Blues San Diego show, proving that she’s going to be a huge star sooner rather than later. On Friday October 19th, fans waited hours before the show to see Noah on her “Good Cry” Tour. Her debut EP Good Cry has given her a dedicated following, and with hits like her recent collaboration with Gallant, Mad at you. Maty Noyes opened on her US run of the tour, playing infectious tracks like “New friends,” “Say It To My Face,” and fan favorite “In My Mind”. Her infectious confidence and catchy lyrics had the fans shouting the lyrics along with her. She explores romance and the pitfalls of love in her honest singles. She kept the energy high as she closed out her set and Noah had taken the stage shortly after.

The tour is currently mid-way through leading into some Latin American dates, which you can purchase tickets for upcoming dates here.

Ministry played a packed hometown Chicago show to a room full of fans that just couldn’t get enough. With a band firing on all cylinders and frontman Al Jourgensen leading the way with their unique brand of industrial metal the crowd was sure in for a huge night. Featuring special guest Burton C Bell of Fear Factory fame doing a few songs on vocals each night gave a unique twist. No one could expect however what would come at the end of the night as Al stated he had a guest to do one song that hasn’t been with Ministry since the 80’s and it was none other than Chris Connelly. This one off was something special to see and a great way to top off a killer set from the band.
