When hearing a new band for the first time, do you ever get the feeling that said band is really onto something special? If you’re a fan of heartland rock or alternative rock in general, you might well get that feeling from “Karma”, the debut single from The Forty Twos. A song that goes through a “rollercoaster of emotions”, according to the band, it’s a very promising debut that brings to mind classic rock icons like Tom Petty in style, but with a modern touch that might fit best under the all-encompassing alternative rock banner. Either way you slice it, it might only be a matter of time until this band gets serious traction.
