After teasing it for months, it’s more or less official at this point – Deftones have revealed the release date of their upcoming record. The alt-metal legends also teased the all-but-confirmed title of their upcoming record over the past few days as well – and astute Deftones fans can probably guess what it is at this point.
Notably, the final clue came this morning, when a billboard was spotted in Los Angeles by the host of MoshTalks. Shortly before, Deftones revealed coordinated on their social media for a location, which revealed the billboard with the lyrics “This is our time, we devour the days ahead” – along with an album drop date of September 25th. Given that we’re a month out from the album release, it makes sense that fans can expect a single very soon.

Also, cognizant Deftones fans will note that the band’s recently teased songs coincide with the album title. Pretty neat stuff. Ohms drops next month – stay tuned.
