Code Orange have undoubtedly become one of the bigger hardcore/metalcore bands out currently, with both 2014’s I Am King and their most recent album Forever boosting their profile immensely – also landing the band on tours supporting Gojira and some band called System Of A Down. Maybe you’ve heard of them.
Anyhow, one thing Code Orange fans weren’t prepared for was the band’s new collaboration with Patrick Star, of Spongebob Squarepants fame. Remember the episode “Hall Monitor”, where the titular character becomes hall monitor for a day and predictably makes everything chaotic? Sure you do. If not, there’s a part near the end of the episode where Patrick Star mimics a police siren by saying “Wee Woo” over and over again.
The video, called Code Orange’s “My World” but the dissonant guitar riff is WEE WOO, is straight up hilarious and worth 33 seconds of your day. Check it out below.
