It may be 36 years since Toto’s iconic hit “Africa” became a massive hit for the band, but the song has experienced a resurgence in recent years, becoming one of the more popular Internet memes around. Of course, they’re all in homage to the track, which is basically pop-rock perfection, and it’s a song so catchy that Weezer acknowledged the song in a recent cover themselves.

Trivium’s Matt Heafy recently put his own spin on the song just a few hours ago, which you can check out below. The best part about the cover is when it goes from 0 to 100 faster than you can blink, and it’s a pretty inventive spin on the track overall.
