Currently touring all summer on Rockstar Energy’s Disrupt Tour, Sleeping With Sirens are marking 2019 as a return to form of sorts with their new single, “Leave It All Behind”. The band is currently playing shows with Four Year Strong, Circa Survive, Thrice, and of course, The Used. The tour, which has been one of the best Warped Tour replacements in 2019, still has plenty of dates left.
Over the weekend, fans got a special treat when SWS vocalist Kellin Quinn joined The Used on stage to perform “A Box Full Of Sharp Objects” on the tour, just a couple months after tweeting that he wanted to play “Take It Away” with the band. Depending on who you ask, of course, this may have turned out even better.
Currently touring in support of their most recent record The Canyon, The Used are back on the touring grind in full force. So too are melodic hardcore veterans Counterparts, and both bands are currently in Europe right now. Surely you see what we’re getting at, right?
The Used and Counterparts played a special show in Italy, where the two bands’ tours converged into one special event. Even better? Counterparts vocalist Brendan Murphy joined The Used to perform “A Box Full Of Sharp Objects”, and you can watch the video live. This just a day after Murphy professed his love for The Used – and let’s be honest here, most of us can probably relate.

Today, Sea of Trees is premiering their new EP “Boss Battle!” exclusively on The New Fury. I spoke to the band’s vocalists about the inspiration behind the new tracks, which you can stream below.
French alternative rock band Merge have released their new single, “The Exit”. After touring across Europe in 2015 with acts such as Limp Bizkit, Enter Shikari, The Used and Circa Survive, Merge locked themselves up in the studio to write and record their next album. “The Exit” is the first track to be unveiled, and present the band in a new light. The band will be touring France end of June 2016 and Europe from October 2016 on.
Guitarist Julien Ho-Tong commented on the new track saying, “We are excited to release our new single. We feel that we have finally found a fresh new sound that represents Merge. We can’t wait for what’s to follow!”Continue reading →
