Self-styled post-metalcore band Phantoms recently changed their location from Maryland to Jacksonville, Florida. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to meet them as well as snap some photos before their set. They recently just released a music video for their single, “There Were Once Birds That Sang”. Welcome To Rockville 2016


This weekend is quite important if you live in Florida and are a fan of Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Bullet For My Valentine, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, and Lamb of God.

Welcome To Rockville ’16 (Sponsored by Monster Energy) is Saturday, April 30th and May 1st. On Saturday, the opening day of the festival, the following bands/musicians will be performing: Disturbed, Shinedown, 3 Doors Down, Bring Me The Horizon, Sixx:Am, Collective Soul, Pennywise, Pop Evil, Bullet For My Valentine, Hellyeah, Asking Alexandria, Trivium, Filter, Candlebox, Escape The Fate, Crown The Empire, Enter Shikari, Miss May I, Wilson, Red Sun Rising, Lacey Sturm, Monster Truck, Cane Hill, and Big Jesus. This event is something you can’t clearly miss, the lineup for the first day is epic.

Preview: The Big Ticket 2015


102.9 Jacksonville’s New Alternative station is bringing their sixth annual “The Big Ticket” music festival back for another ride. This year’s lineup is bringing in some of the brightest up and comers in the alternative music scene. Featuring the likes of Walk The Moon, Saint Motel, and Glass Animals, as well as established co-headliners in Twenty One Pilots and Of Monsters And Men, the event will take place on Sunday December 6th, at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida.
