Set to embark on a tour supporting The Contortionist at the end of March, things could not be better for a new band. Though they’re technically “new”, you’ll surely recognize some familiar names here. Entheos, which is comprised of 3 former members of the influential Animosity (Navene K, Evan Brewer, Malcolm Pugh), and vocalist Chaney Crabb. Don’t be mistaken, though – this is not a supergroup in any conventional way. Instead, the group, who put out a 4-song EP in Primal quickly after forming, appears to be on the fast track to success – buoyed by support slots on large-scale tours, and the chemistry that can only come from everyone in the band knowing their role.
Entheos has unveiled a new track from The Infinite Nothing, entitled “Neural Damage”. It’s a speedy, smashing, technical introduction to the band, who are incredibly good at their craft. Check out the song below, and catch them on tour soon!
