Wrestlemania 2000

Anaheim, California

April 2nd, 2000

Tag Team Match
Bull Buchanan & The Big Bossman vs. D-Lo Brown & The Godfather (w/Ice-T)

This was overly long and really boring. A terrible match to open the show with.

WWF Hardcore Title 15 Minute Time Limit Battle Royal
Crash Holly (c) vs. Hardcore Holly vs. Bradshaw vs. Mosh vs. Tazz vs. Taka Michinoku vs. Faarooq vs. Joey Abs vs. Funaki vs. Thrasher vs. Viscera vs. Pete Gas vs. Rodney

This was stupid but fun at times. Makes no sense in a match with a 15 minute time limit where the belt can change hands endlessly that people just randomly fight instead of going after who is the champ. A lot of this just dragged.

Tag Team Match
T&A (Albert & Test) (w/Trish Stratus) vs. Head Cheese (Al Snow & Steve Blackman)

Trish was the only reason this match happened and it dragged too long for her not even being in it.

.5 / 5

WWF World Tag Team Title Three Way Ladder Match
The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray Dudley & D-Von Dudley) (c) vs. Christian & Edge vs. The Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy)

This was great as expected. Two teams doing the matches that they did best. They really tried to fit in every possible spot here though sometimes rushing to the next one almost. This was still a classic though.

4.25 / 5

Cat Fight (Special Referee: Val Venis)
Terri (w/The Fabulous Moolah) vs. The Kat (w/Mae Young)

Awful

.5 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Chyna & Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty) vs. The Radicalz (Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero & Perry Saturn)

Horrible but quick.

.5 / 5

WWF Intercontinental Title Triple Threat Match
Kurt Angle (c) vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho

This was good not great. It always felt like no one was really going all out and that the match itself was missing that final push to greatness. Still though even on their worst day these 3 could go at it.

3.25 / 5

Tag Team Match
Kane & Rikishi (w/Paul Bearer) vs. D-Generation X (The Road Dogg & X-Pac) (w/Tori)

Quick and pretty much pointless.

1 / 5

WWF World Heavyweight Title Fatal Four Way Elimination Match
Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley) (c) vs. Mick Foley (w/Linda McMahon) vs. The Big Show (w/Shane McMahon) vs. The Rock (w/Vince McMahon)

This was a solid main event but not the most amazing. Show going out so early and easily was meaningless almost. Otherwise this was all about Vince eventually turning on Rock. Did it need to go almost 40 minutes, no. It could have been trimmed some but the crowd was hot for moments of this and Foley got some good spots in.

3.5 / 5
