15 Tag Team Battle Royal
Bradshaw & Chainz vs. Flash Funk & Steve Blackman vs. The Godwinns (Henry O. Godwinn & Phineas I. Godwinn) vs. The Head Bangers (Mosh & Thrasher) vs. The Legion Of Doom (Road Warrior Animal & Road Warrior Hawk) (w/Sunny) vs. The Quebecers (Jacques & Pierre) vs. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) vs. Too Much (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) vs. The Disciples Of Apocalypse (8-Ball & Skull) vs. The Midnight Express (Bodacious Bart & Bombastic Bob) (w/Jim Cornette) vs. The Truth Commission (Recon & Sniper) vs. Los Boricuas (Miguel Perez & Savio Vega) vs. Los Boricuas (Jesus Castillo & Jose Estrada) vs. The Nation Of Domination (D-Lo Brown & Mark Henry) vs. The Nation Of Domination (Faarooq & Kama Mustafa)

A very lackluster rumble tag match. Good chance for them to get a match with a bunch of guys who wouldn’t be on otherwise but clearly set up for LOD. Most of the match just plods along until the end but even at its best its a pretty boring match.

1.5 / 5

WWF Light Heavyweight Title Match
Taka Michinoku (c) vs. Aguila

This was WWF’s attempt at the time to emulate the WCW cruiserweight guys. A super fun, spot filled, action packed match between these two guys both super young at the time. A lot of high flying moves and the crowd was really into the match by the end of it.

3.5 / 5

WWF European Title Match
Triple H (w/Chyna) (c) vs. Owen Hart

The match fit perfectly here on the card and was super over with the card. Chyna was handcuffed to Commissioner Sgt Slaughter and still got her inference in to help HHH. Owen looked like a great babyface. As a match itself it was just okay but the story and build up in match helped a lot.

3 / 5

Mixed Tag Team Match
Marc Mero & Sable vs. Luna & TAFKA Goldust

A fun match that went longer than I expected. Sable couldn’t have been more over in this match and worked great while Luna was a fantastic heel. Mero and Golddust worked together well and Mero had a few good moves here. This move the Sable / Luna feud going as well.

3 / 5

WWF Intercontinental Title Match
The Rock (w/D-Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa & Mark Henry) (c) vs. Ken Shamrock

Even though it was more for story than a legit match this was fun. Made The Rock look smart finding ways to keep his belt and made Shamrock look like an aggressive monster. Rock selling the ankle lock too was perfect.

2 / 5

WWF World Tag Team Title Dumpster Rules Match
The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn & The Road Dogg) (c) vs. Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie

A fun hardcore match even if it didn’t follow the rule of getting put in the dumpster they brought out. It was everything you’d expect really. Funk took some good blows and Foley took some down right hard looking spots. New Age Outlaws held their own here and looked good and this continued the feud they had going.

3 / 5

Singles Match
Kane (w/Paul Bearer) vs. The Undertaker

Taker and Kanes first match against each other and its just okay. Starts and ends strong but the middle drags. It has its memorable moments like Takers leap into the announce table. It did make Kane look like a monster threat due to him going toe to toe against Taker and taking so many moves though. Their later matches against one another were better though I believe.

2.5 / 5

WWF World Heavyweight Title Match
Shawn Michaels (w/Chyna & Triple H) (c) vs. Steve Austin

A good but not great match here. It had the story, heart, and the crowd behind it. Shawn was hurt here but still put his best into it even if the match was pretty simplified down for a lot of moves. Austin too with his neck issues was present but he did good. Tyson was in the match for the perfect amount and the crowd popped for the post match punch.

3.5 / 5
