WWF Wrestlemania 10 (Wrestling Review)

WWF

Wrestlemania 10

New York City, New York

March 20, 1994

Singles Match
Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart

Another Owen / Bret classic. A 5 star opener. Technical but never boring and Owen, not being a big guy at the time, going over wasn’t expected at all.

5 / 5

Mixed Tag Team Match
Bam Bam Bigelow & Luna Vachon vs. Dink & Doink

Decent comedy match. Luna / Dink was fine but if this was Bam Bam / Doink only they could have had a decent match.

1.5 / 5

Falls Count Anywhere 60 Second Count Match
Crush (w/Mr. Fuji) vs. Randy Savage

A bit flawed here. Finish was different but the match itself wasn’t great. Crowd was into Macho Man as always.

2 / 5

WWF World Women’s Title Match
Alundra Blayze (c) vs. Leilani Kai

3 minutes but Blaze hit a few solid moves.

1 / 5

WWF World Tag Team Title Match
The Quebecers (Jacques & Pierre) (w/Johnny Polo) (c) vs. Men On A Mission (Mabel & Mo) (w/Oscar)

Mabel got a hot tag but other than that crowd was dead for this and rightfully slow. At 7 minutes it dragged still.

WWF World Heavyweight Title Match (Special Referee: Mr. Perfect)
Yokozuna (w/James E. Cornette & Mr. Fuji) (c) vs. Lex Luger

Yokozuna doing two matches in a night at his size at this point wasn’t smart. He tried to take it easy here but Lex couldn’t hold the match on his own. This dragged on due to that.

1.5 / 5

Singles Match
Adam Bomb (w/Harvey Wippleman) vs. Earthquake

Squash.

.5 / 5

WWF Intercontinental Title Ladder Match
Razor Ramon (c) vs. Shawn Michaels (w/Diesel)

Another iconic match here. Crazy bumps for the times and this match was a major point with being innovative. Michaels and Razor both looked like gold here.

5 / 5

WWF World Heavyweight Title Match (Special Referee: Roddy Piper)
Yokozuna (w/James E. Cornette & Mr. Fuji) (c) vs. Bret Hart

A very slow and boring main event even more so following that ladder match. Yoko was legit tired and it showed and Bret was playing off like he was hurt from earlier. The pace was slow and even though Bret won and the crowd popped the match itself was a dud.
