WWE Raw – Episode 1494 (01.10.2022) (Wrestling Review)

I didn’t expect a title change especially going to Alpha Academy. The team isn’t exactly over and thats clear from the crowd reaction. Match was it was just okay at best, rather quick but showed that Alpha Academy had two different styles that worked together. Having Orton take the pin as well was not expected.

Another heel tag win here done clean just like the match before. Priest not being involved made sense to keep him looking good. Other than that most the match was instantly forgettable and Ziggler winning means almost nothing.

A good match between two of the best guys on Raw. Both showed why are they are so good in ring but its also not anything we haven’t seen between these two before. It does continue the downfall of Big E after his title loss since he’s just taken loss after loss and done nothing since losing the belt.

A new match actually that made everyone look good. Cheap DQ finish though I guess protects Styles and Theory until they can have a longer match. Not bad for what it was though.

A somewhat average match. Liv has showed just how much progress she’s made in ring here and Bel Air looked great too. Having Doudrop win though is a joke compared to either one of these who could have won. That ruined the match alone since Liv could have actually used a push here.
