Clash At The Castle : Scotland

Glasgow, Scotland

May 16th, 2024

WWE Title / WWE Universal Title I Quit Match
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles

This was a fine match but not their best overall. A bit long and never felt like there was much drama behind it or that AJ had a chance to win.

3 / 5

WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Triple Threat Match
Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark vs. The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn)

Sloppy but a surprising win. Jade looked pretty bad here and shows that something with her is still off. I applaud them making the oddest choice win though.

2.5 / 5

WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable (w/Maxxine Dupri & Otis)

A good match here with the side story of Otis and Maxine with Gable working well. Sami and Gable are both guys that can fight great and have good matches with most.

3.5 / 5

WWE Women’s Title Match
Bayley (c) vs. Piper Niven (w/Chelsea Green)

Chelsea Green saved the match here. Otherwise this was slow and boring with the crowd being dead for it.

2 / 5

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match
Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

A big man fight here that even at 20 minutes felt too long at times and took some time to get going. Drew losing sucks given where the show was and the crowd being behind him but Punk coming out brings us closer to a Punk vs Drew match.

3 / 5
