At the beginning of 2021, Bring Me The Horizon’s “Can You Feel My Heart”, a song that was released originally in 2013, went viral on TikTok – which spread to the band’s streaming statistics. It’s now the band’s most-streamed song on Spotify as of this moment.
The Plot In You are continuing this trend with their song “Feel Nothing”. Far and away the band’s most-streamed song on Spotify with over 40 million at the time of this writing, both the song (and their solid new album Swan Song) have helped the band reach almost 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify as of this very moment, too. How is the song, which was originally released in 2017, experiencing such a surge in popularity? Funny you should ask…
uhhhhh has feel nothing by the plot in you been trending on tiktok or something? bc it’s in the top 50 viral usa songs on spotify pic.twitter.com/4dNbwnje5O

It appears the song was recently in the Viral USA Top 50, according to one astute Twitter user. And it appears the song is being used in the workout playlist of physical fitness buffs, adding to the song’s recent viral surge. Some of these people are even discovering the song for the first time, which is pretty neat.
a BUNCH of the worst kinda dudes you’ve ever seen are using it as a sound for their “lifting playlist” videos lmao it’s bad. pic.twitter.com/z0SGx3nHt1

Of course, “Feel Nothing” isn’t the first song to inexplicably go viral on social media. Fueled by a plethora of new fans discovering the band a few months ago, Turnstile’s new album Glow On reached a new audience and landed a huge first-week sales debut last month, thanks to endless buzz on social media. And while “Feel Nothing” is a fan favorite song (arguably the band’s most defining hit to date), it’s also a universally relatable song as many listeners know what it’s like to simply feel nothing for a significant other.
Once again I thank Tik tok for allowing me to find some sick bands to listen. The plot in you have and their song “feel nothing” have made my day
