Where I Belong Tour- Indianapolis, IN

The ultimate pop punk lineup wrecked Old National Center last night in Indianapolis, IN. Crowdsurfers gave security a run for their money nonstop during We The Kings, State Champs and Simple Plan. The crowd even split in half as they readied for a wall of death when the first chorus of “Check Yes Juliet” by We The Kings dropped. Pits were running rampant through the whole night as the crowd was constantly on their feet and moving.

Earlier this year, State Champs headlined the basement of Old National Center, but last night they played in it’s largest room and it’s no surprise the energy was amplified in the larger environment. All 3 bands played a perfect blend of nostalgic old material and new with Simple Plan even performing “What’s New Scooby Doo” and announcing that being the Scooby Doo band is their one claim to fame. The night even included a proposal onstage during We The Kings set where they called up a videographer to “ask to see her footage” and then surprised her with her boyfriend who snuck up right behind her and had a speech memorized ready to propose. She said yes, and the band followed by serenading the two. Photographer, Mya Tolliver, was there to capture the whole night.
