What Is Love? Never Shout Never announces breakup after a decade of music

If you had a Myspace account in the late 2000’s, you probably encountered at least a few of your friends with Never Shout Never as their profile songs. The indie pop/rock band, led and founded by Christofer Drew, gained fame thanks to the burgeoning social media network in the mid-2000’s. Eventually, the success of his first few EPs garnered Drew a major-label bidding war, culminating in a number of records released on Warner Brothers. Exploring an array of styles from acoustic folk (Harmony) to psychedelic rock (Time Travel), one can’t say that Drew ever pigeonholed himself musically. How many bands of that era can say they were still drawing crowds a decade later, or that landed multiple albums in the Billboard Top 200?

It looks like that era is over, though, as Drew announced on social media that NSN is through after their remaining tour dates next month. No word on if there will be new music from Drew, but he does hint at it, which is good news for fans.
