They’re currently on a tour with Yuth Forever (formerly known as Villains), Left Behind, and Varials – but Durant, Oklahoma has given rise to a punishing exercise in metal and hardcore. I’m speaking, of course, about 2×4, who are slaying their way across the USA currently. To get a taste of their live set, new video for their song “Volition” has surfaced online. The video, taken a week ago on a stop in Arkansas, showcases how and why 2×4 is about to become the new “buzz” band in everyone’s ears. In an early 2015 review of their EP MCMLII, New Transcendence had the following to say – “Next time you can’t find the motivation to fight through one more day of your adverse, arduous existence, you ought to pick up 2X4′s MCMLII.”. Strong words.
