Vocalist Tim Goergen leaves Within The Ruins, Steve Tinnon joins

With 5 full-lengths and multiple EP’s under their belt, Massachusetts-based metal band Within The Ruins have long been a driving force in what metal should sound like – forward-thinking, technically proficient, and most of all, fun. And while the band isn’t likely to stop anytime soon, they now have to do it with a new vocalist, as long-time frontman Tim Goergen is leaving the band due to personal and health reasons. Luckily for WTR, ex-Silence The Messenger vocalist Steve Tinnon is filling his shoes quite nicely. Read a full statement after the jump.
